The Year of Reservations...

Good Morning, take a few deep breaths and let this be a break in the election madness. Take in some Steep Thoughts, start to dream about ski season, and subscribe.

While we ooo’ed and ahh’ed over some flakes and a few snow guns, our friends in the great white north were getting after it with some early season pow turns.

Most resorts are implementing COVID restrictions for the upcoming season. Whether you picked up an Ikon or an Epic pass, you’ll want to check out this breakdown from We included some of the highlights below.

Ikon Pass holders will enjoy unrestricted access at most of the pass’s destinations. Reservations will be required at Arapahoe Basin, Aspen Snowmass, Jackson Hole, Big Sky Resort, Brighton, Loon, Taos Ski Valley, and Windham Mountain.

If you make a reservation, and your selected destination closes due to an eligible COVID-19 event between 12/10 and 4/11, you will receive a proportional credit towards a purchase of next years pass.

Any pass purchased for this season may be deferred to the 2021/2022 season. We highlighted some anticipated opening dates in our last post.

If you bought an epic pass for the upcoming season, you’ll want to check out this video on making reservations. The pass holder priority reservation window is 11/6 to 12/7.

This season’s Epic Pass holders will be afforded unlimited early season access, priority reservations for core season, week-of reservations, and an exclusive reservation window as mentioned above.

If you cannot get the Priority Reservation Days you want by December 7th, and you have not used your pass, you can get a refund with Epic.
